Suzuki outboard no power to ignition.
No Spark at the Spark Plug Gap. When the coil fails completely, you won’t get any more voltage to the plugs. Because there will be a lack of energy to the plug, there will be no spark at the gap and your outboard motor will generally not start. And if it does, then it is going to be shaking or misfiring pretty badly.
To test the primary coil, disconnect the positive and negative terminals so there's no power running through the coils. Set the multimeter to ohms and connect the positive and negative terminals. Jun 6, 2016 · no power form you battery switch to the dash.. trace the power lead off the battery switch to the dash from the battery switch.. there should be a relatively short pig tail that through a connector ..connects to a white wire.. that should be the power source to the dash.. then the ingition/remote.. check that first connection off the battery..
